Our Fall Musical is a vibrant, full-scale production that challenges students to shine as singers, dancers, and actors. As a varsity-level activity, this show offers a rewarding opportunity for performers ready to embrace the demands of musical theater. With a limited cast size, students can expect a focused and dynamic experience, and some roles may call for especially strong vocal skills. Whether on stage or behind the scenes, this production sets a high bar for artistry and teamwork at the start of our season.

Our Children’s Tour production combines singing, dancing, and acting in a fun and accessible experience for students of all ability levels. Featuring a larger cast, this show invites wide participation and fosters a spirit of teamwork and creativity. In early January, the company takes the show on the road, performing for elementary schools across our district and sharing the magic of theater with younger audiences.

Our MSHSL One Act is a varsity-level production focused solely on acting. This highly selective cast represents Irondale at the regional level, with the potential to advance and perform at the state level. Roles require strong acting skills, as students collaborate to deliver powerful, focused storytelling in Minnesota’s statewide high school theater competition. We are proud to have represented Irondale at the State One Act Festival in 2014, 2016, 2021, and 2024, earning special distinctions in both 2014 and 2024.

Our Winter One Act Showcase is a student-driven production that highlights a wide variety of talents. Upperclassmen have the opportunity to select or write plays, dance pieces, songs, or spoken word performances, creating a rich and varied program. Participation may involve acting, singing, or dancing—but not all are required—and students of all skill levels are encouraged to audition. This showcase celebrates creativity, collaboration, and the unique voices of our student community.

​Our Spring Play is a varsity-level production that shines a spotlight on the art of acting. With a limited cast, it offers a meaningful and challenging opportunity for students to take on substantial, memorable roles. As the final production of the year, it holds special significance for our seniors, whose dedication and growth we are proud to honor in the casting process. While seniority is not the deciding factor, this production celebrates the talents and contributions of all who take the stage.
